Supporting Coaching Inn Group’s ambitious acquisition strategy

The brief

The Coaching Inn Group, which specialises in market town hotel, restaurant and coffee shop venues, wanted to attract would-be vendors to expand its estate and realise its £50 million growth ambition across the UK.

The delivery

We devised an extensive trade media relations campaign, highlighting the Group’s acquisition strategy and showcasing its successes. In addition to in-depth profiles in The Caterer, Eat Out, Big Hospitality and major award wins including scooping two prestigious Publican Awards and an Eat Out Award, Coaching Inn Group was featured as a key industry commentator on relevant issues such as casual dining and restaurant and bar refurbishment.

The results


With an ambitious plan to double the size of the Group by mid-2019, Coaching Inn Group is on track and has attracted a £10 million investment from the Business Growth Fund (BGF) to further accelerate its growth plans. The Group was listed as “One To Watch” in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and one of the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
