Creating inspiring content to encourage leisure travel for Northern

The brief

With a wealth of world class cities on its patch, our client Northern was keen to show travellers the variety of destinations served by its network and the things you can do there. Our brief was to develop content that showcases cities across the North.

The delivery

We developed guides to each city destination covering all the most searched topics, from places to eat and drink to cultural highlights and hidden gems.

We created a distinctive visual identity for all the imagery and created cost-effective animated day trip videos perfect for social media.

The results


Northern now has a growing bank of distinctive bespoke imagery, which means they no longer need to rely on costly and generic library images


Content has been grouped into topic areas with combined landing page views exceeding 55,000


Content included in social advertising destination guides for Leeds and Newcastle reached in excess of 35,000 and 50,000 respectively.
